550W enough for GTX 550 Ti?

Hey guys,

I have a BFG BFG Tech GS-550 550W and was wondering if I will be able to run my GTX 550 Ti. The requirement for the graphics card says I need 24amps on the 12V rail. I only have 18amps on the 12V but its dual 12vs with 18amps on each. Would this be an issue?

Its BFG's low end line but still its alot better than alot of the crap thats out there. it will run your 550 just fine.

gtx 550 is a mid range card, that should be enough..

Your PSU has two 12V rails each capable of providing 18A for a maximum of 432W...you're good to go electrically.

It'll be more than enough. nVidia recommends a 400 watt PSU for that card
