5670 on 300w psu?

Hello, just curious but would an amd 5670 1gb gddr5 run on my system with 300w psu? insperon 580, specs i3 530 3.07ghz , 4gb ddr3... psu model: bestec atx0300d5wb

Most likely the PSU has 18amps on the +12volts = 216watts and total system consumption in game here on a I7 9xx system is 214watts (not all coming from the +12) http://www.anandtech.com/show/4278/amds-radeon-hd-6670-radeon-hd-6570/15

it should run it. ive ran one on an old dell xps with pentium d, 4gb ddr2, and 300w psu.

A 5670 only needs about 5 amps. You will be fine.

One of my systems has an OC'd Q9550, 4 GB RAM, a GTX260 - a card that needs about 100 watts more than yours, a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard, 3 hard drives and an optical, and a Soundblaster card all powered by a Corsair 750TX.

Running 3 instances of Prime95 to load the CPU and 3DMark06 to load the GPU, it pulls 375 watts from the wall as measured by my Kill-a-Watt meter. Figuring 80% PSU efficiency, the system pulls 300 watts from the PSU.
