5770 and 460 question

im looking for a benchmark of the 2 cards but not your standard 1 of this vs 2 of that and visa versa.

3 $154 vapor x 5770s vs 2 $235 msi cyclone 460s

basically a 462 dollar 3 way setup vs a 470 dollar 2 way setup

stock and fully oc comparisons would be nice also.... ill keep looking for my self wile i wait

save $40 dollars and get a cooler and more efficient card that will easily max out any game today and overclock beautifully.

its going to be a tripple monitor set up also (just got 2 from a pawn shop 80 bucks each 1920 by 1080 couldn't pass it up)

HD 5770's seem to perform poorly in a 3-way crossfire setup compared to them in a 2-way crossfire setup.. This might be a software issue also..

In any case, i guess two GTX 460's should easily overpower them.. The only point in favor of the 5770's may be the power draw but i guess that's not of much a concern for you.. So my recommendation goes to two GTX 460's in SLI..
