Hello,

I have a 2 questions.

1. What is better:
Sapphire 5770HD 1GB or Sapphire Vapor-X 5770HD 1GB. And what is the difference.

2. Will my Codegen ATX 400W handle any of them?

well, in my country Vapor-X costs about 170$ and i have 175$

I upgraded my PC about a month ago, but i didn't have funds for PSU and videocard.

well it not worth testing it with that current powersupply, its not gonna happen, if u do u might fry the rest of ur pc if ur crappt powersupply starts shooting lightning bolts around u .
u could do this

put 60$ on a new powersupply, and buy a 5670 with the rest 😀

I think that HD5670 will not max out all newest games.

But anyway, will Corsair CX430, 430W be good?

Im looking everything in an Latvian page(im from Latvia)

Adress: www.dateks.lv

Im planning to get an XFX Radeon HD5670, 1GB, GDDR5

a 5770 will run ok on that psu if it is a recent psu, please look at the PSU and tell us how many amps on the 12v rail, or give us an exact model number. Please state the rest of your system specs alsu, like CPU, motherboard etc.

dude, codegen is a generic bad pile of electronics incase in a box , honestly i wouldnt even try to run a 5770 on that thing, be afraid to fry my pc, im willing o bet anything that powersupply doesnt deliver close to 400 watts,

Only takes a good 350 watt PSU to run a 5770.

And yes it can max most games, but at 1600x1200/1280x1024.

If you could buy from Newegg, you could get a Xigmatek Go Green 400 watt for $35 and not have to worry about it being unable to power a 5770..

I have Intel i5 760 quad-core 2.8Ghz
OCZ 4Gb DDR3 RAM
GigaByte S-Series GA-H55M-S2H motherboard
Codegen ATX PSU 400W V2.03 P4 CE PFC PSU (SILENT/ 12cm fan)
For now i have Nvidia 8400GS

But i have a chance to run HD5770 on this PSU good?

i still wouldnt trust codegen for stable power, and too many people skip on learning about the pros of having a good ^powersupply, whats the point of having a great 300$ graphic card if u gonna have a crappy powersupply, might fail and take everything with it, honestly i see none

Heres the pic. Sorry for bad quality, it was taken by my phone.

looks like its not a true 400w psu, they are very low amperages on the 12v rails. here is a 380w unit from antec who's specs far exceed yours http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product.php?id=NjM= you should get one to replace your current power supply. it will run a 5770 with ease and you could probably even squeeze in a 6850, so long as the rest of your system is fairly low power (mid range cpu/single hard drive setup.)

So i can try to buy HD5770 and run it with no problems?
