Rig: 5820k OC @ 4.5ghz vcore 1.3v, X99A usb3.1, 4x4gb bus 2400 OC @2666

I benchmark my 5820k on CPU-Z. Here is the result compare with 5960x.

My mates got 5820k as well but their result is wayyy better than mine... and I dont understand why... is my cpu fault or what :( please explain or help me to fix this.

Here is my mates result

According to this video of LinusTechTip, http://, the RAM OC over bus 2400 will automatically change the CPU clock from auto to 125mhz therefore I need to change the ratio to 36 in order to get the 4.5GHZ result. I did exactly same thing he told in that video. My CPU stable, pass IBT, prime 95, good temp. Everything is perfect except one thing the multi score benchmark on CPU-Z is way too low compare to my mates result. I OCed back to clock 100mhz instead of 125mhz, raise the ratio from 36 to 45. Vcore still 1.3v. Stable, pass IBT, prime95 again but the result still the same.

5960x 8 cores 16 threads got multi cores score abt 9000ish
my 5820k 6 cores 12 threads got multi cores score about 6800-7000ish
my mates 5820k 6 cores 12 threads got multi cores score about 9900-10000ish

LOL are 2 cores of my 5820k not working or my mates 5820k have 2 more cores

Solution
It could be a lot of factors, the first of which is please do not go by CPU-Z benchmark. This is the first time I've ever heard of it and i'm not new to benchmarking components. I'm guessing it's like the windows test, garbage. Run a proper CPU benchmark like Cinebench 11.5 ot the latest version, Cinebench 15. Make sure the clock speed that you are running it at is the same clock speed that your friend is running it at. Trust me, the scores will be the same.

they overclock as well as u can see they got 4.8 and 4.5ghz on 5820k. the other guy run it at normal but still got 10000 score i dont understand. If I run cinebench 11.5 or 15 what result is normal for 5820k? And could u explain why their 5820k got the higher score than even 5960x :(

yeah i think CPU-Z benchmark is just BETA version so it could be some weird stuff. I tested again with cinebence R15 I got 1246cb on multi core and 120ish cb on single core. I guess that is not bad at all innit :)
