You'd be supprised at the varience on temps. Half of that depends on your motherboard's thermistor placement too. The 'rated' temps on the t-bird is like 90C, but if you're getting 60C+, you might want to try a few different things.
First, and easiest, is to pull off your case panels (all of them), and point a house fan on low/medium at the motherboard.
If your cpu/mb temps drop by more than 1C, you've got a case cooling issue above everything else you could possibly do.
Arctic silver and copper plates (~$10) are the next easiest way to go.
After that, it starts to get a little expensive. I've not seen many good thermal specs. on the chrome orb.
