please help me, which is better??

Solution
5820k is an "enthusiast" chip with 6 cores and 12 threads. It has a lower stock clock speed than the 6700k and will perform single-threaded tasks more slowly. They are good overclockers.

6700k is a consumer-level enthusiast chip with 4 cores and 8 threads. It has a higher stock clock speed and is an excellent overclocker with the newest architecture.

If you're asking this question...what are your intended uses for the CPU? You may be just fine with an i5.
Depends.

5th gen desktop CPU (5775c) has Iris Pro graphics, which is faster than what's included with 6th gen. It draws less power, due to lower clocks, and is able to use older socket 1150 boards and DDR3 RAM.

6th gen is overall faster, uses newer 1151 socket + DDR4, which is the new standard, and will have the option of drop-in upgrades later on.

The fifth generation (Broadwell) is practically nonexistent on the desktop and if you can find it, it is priced at a hefty premium over Haswell and Skylake i5/i7.

Its only benefit is the 128MB of L4 cache which does wonders for its IGP or programs with large data sets. If you do not use the IGP nor software for which the L4 cache is of much benefit, then the extra cost for Broadwell is a waste of cash.

Unless you have a very specific reason to want a Broadwell chip, you will be much better off with Skylake or Haswell.

I dont understnad things,
Just let me know please which processor give me best performence between the two?

Sockets supported: LGA2011-v3
Memory type: DDR4
Memory max: 64GB
Memory chanel: 4
Lithography: 22 nm

6th generation

Brand: Intel
Model: Skylake i7-6700K
Clock speed: 4.0 GHz
Core: 4
Smart cache: 8MB
Sockets supported: LGA1151
Lithography: 14nm
Integ graphics: Intel HD 530

Let me know that so I will appreciate you forever

i7 5820K is Haswell, which is a 4th generation architecture. The model number on LGA2011 is always 1 higher than on the consumer socket (1150/1151).

You're essentially comparing 6 slower cores vs 4 faster cores. Which is better will depend entirely on what you're doing.

and using for autodesk 3Ds max, Maya, blender, Photoshop, Illustrator etc soft.

So, which processor is the best for me between the two?
To help me, I'm really grateful to you

Thank you very much for suggest.
Can you please tell me which motherboard is perfect from asus, for the processor 5820k ?
I want to take ASUS Z97 A https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/

But i am confused the processor LGA 2011-v3 and motherboaed LGA 1150
So the Processor will be supported on motherboard?

Hello,

I am sorry to disturb you, Please help me to get a best motherboard and processor in my budget.
my totally budget 600$ for processor and motherboard.

So, which will be best for me? I will be used the cpu for graphics designing, Animation, Autodesk 3Ds max, maya, blendar and photoshop, illustrator soft etc. i like ASUS for motherboard.

Go 6700K then and pick a good Z170 board then. You hadn't mentioned a budget before. The 6700K is the fastest "normal" i7 you can buy and will juggle those tasks quite well.
