I have Antec VP 650W power supply (non modular). It has 2 X 6+2 PCIE power connector.

But what worries me is that both the 6+2 PCIE connectors don't come separately from the PSU but come from a single set of cable and then separate like Y shape.

Is it ok to use these two 6+2 pcie connectors for a GPU that needs two 8 Pin power connectors?

Which GPU do you have that requires 2x8 Pin? That's a LOT of (potential) power!

That's a tier 3 PSU you have there, not great, but not too bad either. Generally I'd say it's okay to use, but it would be good to know what the actual GPU is.

Also, what's the rest of your system? Are you planning on overclocking?

Planning on Zotac GTX 1070 AMP Extreme.
Rest of the specs -
i5 6500
Gigabyte B150M D3H
16 GB ddr4
1 TB Hdd

Since my PSU is a tier - 3 (did not have enough budget while building pc), I am not planning to overclock the GPU.
