60 fps, but constant stuttering

I have a GTX 980 Ti, and I recently upgraded to a new 1440 monitor. I've run a couple games, Fallout 4 and Warframe, and I noticed that both have jitters, especially when I move the mouse. I ran Fraps and got a solid 60 fps on both, so what could be happening?

Most probably caused by you turning on V-Sync. Turn that off and it should be fixed.

I didn't mean to select that as the answer, but oh well.

Turning off vsync just causes tearing on most games. I guess there isn't much I can do. I just didn't want my money to be wasted on a good computer. I probably shouldn't have upgraded in the first place.

Adaptive vsync never seems to turn on for me. I turn off the game's vsync, then turn adaptive on and it just doesn't activate.

If you don't want stuttering or tearing, then spend 400 dollars on a G-sync/free sync monitor while you have a compatible Gsync/freesync GPU.
