I have to build a pc for someone with a $600 budget.
His specifications
Intel processors
NVIDIA graphics
1tb hdd
Any ssd

Im hoping i can get it to $550 or so and keep $50 for actually ordering and building everything.

with a bit of shopping around you'd get that below budget
 


Presuming the OP will be playing at 1080p or less (seing he's on a budget), how on earth is a decent Intel chip like anything above an I5 8400 going to hurt performance. The 8400 at 1080p will get better FPS than nearly all Ryzen chips.
