Just put togheter the system above, its the cheapest i can get in my country. For comparision its about 30% more expensive in my area so a 800$ for me is about 600$ from newegg.

I thaught about adding a more powerfull MB for some future safety with the new sata and SLi. However then i would need a new PSU and better MB making that extra 460 pretty expensive, about 400$.

I plan to run the system on my antec psu @ 500W with my 250gig sata.

thanks for taking time

1. You don't need to change your mobo. KEEP IT.

2. Changing your mobo won't necessitate a change in PSU.

3. A Radeon HD 5770 is gonna be good enough for you if you wanna save some money. The Fermi though will be awesome.

Sorry, could'nt understand a word of Swedish, so could'nt link you to dustin.se :)

Hi calguyhunk, thanks for sharing

Im currently using these:

GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.3) LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Pentium E6300 Wolfdale 2.8GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80571E6300

Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM ECC Unbuffered DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Server Memory Model CT2KIT12872AA667

And a Geforce 7600GT (couldnt find it on newegg.com)

Maybe it will be enough to change the videocard? i looked up the 5770 and it looks good, 25% cheaper also.

thanks

But first, try out the new GFX card before spending so much money. And yes, I've checked your new 5770 will be compatible with your mobo.

If you still want more, you can always buy the rest of the system & use the 5770 in it.

EDIT : Your old memory just ain't enough. If you do wanna stay with your old system, get some 2 X 2GB (4GB) DDR2 800 stuff for your mobo.
