600W EVGA PSU good enough for a 1070?

Hi, these are my specs:

i7 3770
16GB 1866 DDR3
Z77 Extreme 4
MSI GAMING X RX 470
144hz Freesync G2460PF
600W 80+ Certified
Cooler master siedon 120V Plus
240GB SSD
3 HDD

Would I be safe to upgrade my GPU to a 1070? Couldn’t really find much answers so I I’d appreciate the help!

The 1070 draws 20w less than a RX 470 generally mate.

Not going to be an issue seeing as you've already been running a 470.

You could run a 1070 on a decent 450w PSU easily.

Wasn’t sure because I didn’t want to spend 350+ on a GPU then another £80~ for a better PSU.

don't buy the mini versions as they run hotter that the others, as for psu matt is right , altough 450w doesn't leave u room to upgrade in the future to something much beefier, but that's ur choice. i'd raccomand no less than 500w just to have a little room for future upgrades

That's not a good PSU. (EVGA 600W 80+)

I would recommend getting a higher quality unit.

No way I would hook up a $400+ graphics card to that.
