Hi guys.
I've recently changed my mobo and cannot get USB keyboard to wake up my Linux - all my previous hardware did not have this issue.
I've fiddled with BIOS settings but to no avail - does USB wake up your (Linux) system on this mainboard?
many thanks, L.

Hi L.,

This issue is pretty common after a motherboard change, especially if the new board handles USB differently or has stricter power-saving modes. Here's a checklist to help you troubleshoot and hopefully get USB keyboard wake working on your Linux system tellpopeyes

Findings: when set to BIOS controlling wakup, USB wake must be enabled - even if keyboard & mouse wakeups are enabled - which kind of make sense but is not 100% clear - to me - for who, nowadays, uses keyboard/mouse different than USB(ps/2). I was thinking - obviously keyboard/mouse enabled would include USB keyboard/mouse, setting USB to enabled, would meany any/all/other than keyboard/mouse, USB devices. It all works now.
thanks.
