60GB SSD Running Out of Space

When I built my PC 4 months ago, I got a 60GB SSD for my OS and a few programs. I recently upgraded to 16GB of RAM over Christmas and now I have 1 or 2 gigs left on my SSD (Its a Kingston SSDNOW). I have another 770 GB on a mechanical hard drive. I'm OK with upgrading to a bigger SSD. I have uninstalled all the programs I don't need, but that hasn't given me much extra space. If I can get a new SSD, how can I transfer my whole SSD of to the new one? (OS included)

Move your virtual memory/paging file to the hdd

Yes, a 60GB is right on the edge of 'too small'.

Possibly turn off hibernation. (currently sucking up 16GB of your SSD)

But if you want to move to a larger SSD, any of the current cloning applications will do it. Some SSD's (Samsung) come with a specific clone application.

Acronis Disk Director can copy your ssd to a new one and resize the partition for you, if you aren't comfortable with linux tools

I havent used the manufacturers clone software so i can't comment but Acronis is very friendly and fairly cheap

Ohh ive got one for you, if you don't mind backing up and reinstalling. you can get a 2nd of those ssds and stripe them for double speed and space, if your motherboard supports it.

Bad idea.
You don't get double the speed, and the fail potential increases.
