60hz or 144hz monitor for a gtx 1060?

I have a gtx 1060 armor ocv1, I'm about to buy a monitor, I want to know if I should go with a 60hz or a 144hz monitor.

I think its a good idea to go for 144hz, especially since they are coming down in price these days. That being said many games will not fully utilize a 144hz monitor without lowering graphics abit, if you play CSGO definitely get the 144hz.

I'd go for a higher quality 60hz rather than a 144hz lower quality monitor, since the better looking games will be running closer to 60fps than over 100fps at 1080p with a 1060. If all things are equal, including price, then you might as well get the 144hz.

I find that even if you only get 60-80 FPS, 144hz is better than 60hz, as it lets you turn off v-sync for low latency gaming. At that high of a refresh rate, tearing becomes far less noticeable.

Cpu intel i5 6600k, gpu MSI gtx 1060 armor 6Gb ocv1, psu zalman ZM600-tx 80plus. I live in Morocco, Pc parts can be pretty expensive here, I would say my budget is around 300-350$, with this budget, the best monitor I can get here in Morocco is the Asus VG248QE 24".
