Hi, I bought recently a new monitor AOC g2460pqu and attached it to my PC by HDMI cable. What attracted me mostly in this monitor was its low response time of 1ms. The HDMI connection enables only 60 Hz refresh rate. I'm quite impressed with the graphic quality in games and in the movies as it is. Given that I have a graphic card Nvidia GTX 650Ti should I change to Double DVI connection to enable 144 Hz refresh rate and to make most of the new monitor? Will I notice any difference in in game performance or in graphic quality if I don't play competitive games but games like Ryse: Son of Rome and Assassin's Creed series?

144Hz is nice to have but need the FPS to push as far. Disable Vsync and run Fraps for it's FPS counter. If you can achieve at least 120FPS then you'll make use of DVI D DualLink.

Thanks, I checked this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9qkmB0Engc. It maxed some 114 FPS, so I think it's not worth bothering with, will stay with HDMI connection

That's exactly what I thought :)
