6100 i3 vs 1600 ryzen

I want ot upgrade my i3 , will i gain a lot of perormance goin on ryzen 1600? i want to get the asus prime mobo b350 with it but keep my ddr4 2400 ballistix ram.
I mainly game and i want to start streamign again ;

Well if i get a 7700 i'd pay 300€ and for a new mobo and a new Ryzen cpu it would be 320€.
Whats more worth it? My ram are 2400mhz.

Ram is OK either way. I have Ryzen R5 1600x and it's quite faster than 7700 (no K) and when OCed to 4GHz it beats crap out of 7700 at stock speed. So since you have nice leeway with that price difference, I would suggest 1600x and good MB for it. Like my Asus Prime x370 Pro for instance.
Another option, your MB + RAM + i5 7xxx which should be cheaper than i7 but still have good boost.

I want to buy the Asus prime but the 350 version not the 370 😀

7700K (no need to skip the K just because not overclocking, it is 500-600 MHz faster) is faster in pure gaming, but, the 1600 would possibly be better for a gaming while streaming scenario...

B350 ? Yes that would work too, it just has fewer options than x370.

if the k version wouldnt be 70€ more he i'd go for that , but since its so expensive i cant , ill bu y a ryzen 1600 with a mobo and OC it to 3.8 ghz i think , Games i like to play like more cores anyways , like Bf1

That's why Ryzen became so popular, lower price and mostly better in most instances and uses. Your MB would also have to be a "Z" board to make use of K model.

yea , but its not a k sicn its 150 mobo , uhm updated bios for a 7700 , but im leaning more towards the ryzen , and its gonna last me longer i guess
