A friend of mine bought some HP PCM 7350N computer that came with a Nvidia 6200SE. In terms of performance, what the heck is a 6200SE. I do not even know if this video card is onboard, pci-e or agp. I have not talked to him in months, so he did not talk to me about his computer. I would have shared with him right away what this forum as taught me to assume what se stands for. And he lives three hours away, so I have not seen it. I am also wondering about the motherboard and if it even has a pci-e or agp slot for an upgrade. Anyway, what does he have here?

Thanks.

the 6200 comes in two flavours, shite and uber shite (AGP and PCI-E). Its really a card built for people whom want a bit better than Intergrated, but don't wanna actually spend any real money. The SE bit means it probably even worse than the standard 6200.

The 6200SE is a seriously cr@p card
click me !

Your friend will have trouble running all "modern" games like Doom3, BF2, HL2 ....

The 6200SE doesn't even feature in the Tomshardware VGA charts !

to be fair to your mate, that's the stock card the PC comes with
