Hello, I am trying to build a new PC. Will be reusing 500W power supply. But that's it. Please Include OS + The Corsair Spec 02 Mid Tower Case. Budget = $650-700-800. MAX BUDGET IS 800! NO GOING OVER. Games I'd like to play =
Grand Theft Auto V - 1080P High - Ultra 60FPS
CounterStrike Global Offensive - Ultra - 100+ FPS (It's a source game, 300FPS Is easy.
Battlefield 3/4/Hardline - High - Ultra - High FOV 60+ FPS.
GMOD, L4D2, L4D, TF2, Unturned, Minecraft + Shaders , 100+ FPS.
Other Indies in the future.
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeros, And It's upcoming game The Phantom Pain High - Ultra 60FPS

Please keep GPU Nvidia and Intel CPU. My original thoughts were MSI GTX 960 4 GB Vram Edition + I5 4590.

Actually, I've seen a $650 build play GTA V at 1080P High 56 Average FPS. How is $800 Impossible? I just didn't exactly like his build though, So I didn't go with it. @IAmTheTofu (I don't know how to directly reply, New to the site. Plus i'm on my phone.)

Only reason I'm prefering Nvidia At the moment is because of lots of games being optimised for it and more vram on the 960. Another reason is I'd have to find a whole new processer, mobo, etc. To get the best preformence out of amd.

Here.

I'm assuming you have an optical drive, because you're reusing your PSU.

I would add an R9 280X, but your PSU doesn't allow.

And I would get the 300r over the Spec 02 right now because the 300r is a lot better than the Spec 02 and it's only 1 dollar more expensive.

If you stop thinking about Nvidia look at this

I wouldn't. It would be more worth it just to keep your old 500W and get a 960 than get a graphics card that's slightly more expensive and pay more just for another PSU. The 280X is better than the 960, but you won't really notice it that much if you plugged in both into your system.

And no, an Intel processor works just as good as an AMD one on the same graphics card, as long as the Intel and AMD cpus are similar. Vice versa. AMD CPU + Nvidia = Intel CPU + Nvidia

This i5 from Micro Center is nice Idea now I can put R9 290x :0

But when It comes down to it, me and Rabits total build cost are about the same. So its up to op to decide what he wants more of: cpu power or a gpu that isn't power hungry.

At least rabit picked a decent motherboard.

All around, My whole budget is $1000. $800 for the pc, and $200 shared between KB+M and Monitor. So it's hard. I'm still trying to shave off a few dollars. And my keyboard situation is a horror story.

If you mange add additional few $ you can unlock possibility to upgrade in future to SLI.
