Just be aware that some windows updates also contain updated microcode which could cause issues. For instance when people were overclocking the g3258 on non z motherboards windows updates had microcode that created a situation where the cpu could either make use of a single core overclocked or both cores at stock but not both cores active and oc'd at the same time. Those type of hiccups are bound to happen at some point. The most reliable way to overclock since you have a z series board is to consider the 6600k.
