Question 650W not enough?

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
GPU: RTX 2080
RAM: G.Skill 2x8 2400mhz
FANS: 3x 120mm
CPU FAN: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo
PSU: Corsair CX-M 650w

I've recently just upgraded my 1060 6gb to a 2080 and decided to benchmark some games. For most games like GTA 5, Minecraft with shaders, and WarThunder, I would literally get like 40 fps difference from when I had the 1060. So I figured it could be my PSU undervolting evrything?Any thoughts?

The information I have asked for should help indicate a bottleneck. If it looks likely there is another test to prove it. While I do think a cpu bottleneck is a strong possibility we should prove it before suggesting the OP spends money on upgrades.

Much better.

The 9700k and 9900k are still kings, for now, tho, but AMD are barely behind.

The 3600x alone ties the 8700k in games and wins in everything else.
