Question 6700k-->3900x FPS gain ?

Hi guys.
If I install this 2080 Super to a rig with 3900X instead of current with 6700K, how much perfomance gain would I get,average in FPS?
I play games like The Medium, Far Cry 6, Chernobylite,Dying Light 2,Horizon,Shadow of the Tomb Raider....mostly newer titles.

We can't say what the exact difference would be, but it would be substantial in some titles. and noticable in others. It would definitely be worth the upgrade

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I play at 1400p.
I asked on some other forums and got like answer that difference is like 10-20 % which is not a lot ,I mean that is few FPS,correct?

oh no lol, the FPS difference will be much higher than 20%. more like 50% to 100% on the demanding titles.

The other thing is the 3900x has more cores and more threads and should do a lot better at handling anything that runs in the background as well.
