im getting a 6700k and the mobo im gonna get is Asus H170-PLUS which uses DDR3 instead of DDR4 i chose this one cause i dont want to shell out for ddr4 (will upgrade mobo and ram in future) i want to know is how is the 6700k with ddr4 compared to ddr3? also how is the overclocking with the Asus H170-PLUS mobo?

You may want to pony up for DDR4. Officially skylake only supports ddr3l not standard ddr3. Even if a motherboard allows it, DDR3 may cause long term damage to the CPU. The CPU IMC supports voltages up to 1.35. DDR4 runs at 1.2. The additional voltage in standard DDR3 may harm the CPU.
