So today I picked up two new monitors (Switching from an simple little envision running at 1440x900) ASUS VS239H-P monitors. So after i configured everything and got everything running (Now both monitors at 1920x1080) I desided to go update my drivers. So I am now updated to the latest drivers. I started playing games with no problem, then I got on to Black Ops 2, i noticed a drop in framerate, so i desided to lower the graphics etc. No matter how low I drop the quaility i am getting a drop in frame rate when near people. It goes from 60 to 30. Don't exactly know why I am getting this. Hope someone can help!

Also I used to be able to record with Fraps on 60 fps with my 1440x900 monitor. With no problem, now I lag super bad no matter what quality level. Literally a difference in Resolution shouldn't be making this much of a difference.

1920x1080 is very stressful to the 5770 and 6770's as they are the same card just rebadged. now add 2 this adds even more stress to the cards. They just can't handle the extra strain of the 2 monitor setup while gaming. I suggest only running one monitor while gaming. I have a 2 monitors running 1920x1080. i need to turn one off to game at full resolution.

EDIT: when i say turn one off i mean go in and set the CCC or screen resolution page to show desktop only on one monitor. not just turn off the switch on the monitor.

So I tried this. I get the exact same frame rate and when I lower it back to 1440x900 i literally get the same framerate! A week ago on my old monitor at 1440x900 I could record videos at 60 fps (with all settings on ultra) and have no problem. When I record videos now it drops my frame rate extremely bad..

ok you also said that you updated drivers. Try reverting back to the old driver. Newer drivers are not always better. Example 12. 8 runs great for me and a friend that has the same cards but in crossfire. 12.10 make the screen go black and the driver to crash and recover. I personally gave up going to new drivers because of that reason. it would be different if i had a newer card, then i would .

Where do they have the older drivers listed? I cannot find them.
