6800gs or x800gto2

i couldnt find the 6800gs in cleeves list and was wondering about the x800gto2 since it can be turned into a x850 by unlocking.

which is the better buy?

can all gto2s unlock the 16 pipes? and is the only way to do it by flashing the bios?

From what I've heard is on the GTO2 some already come with the pipes unlocked, so you may not have to do any flashing. But if you do have to flash it is not that hard, just google it. Trust me I flashed my card and had no clue about it before. So I will suggest to you the GTO2 because when all pipes are unlocked it offers better performance.

BTW, to check if all pipes are unlocked just dl ATItool.

The best card in the sub-$200 range should be the 7600 GT now...

im in toronto and the 7600gt costs a ridiculous 300$+ tax. i can get a x800gto for 209$. i guess i'll just go wiht that or wait for g80
