To anyone that has this chip: how do you get a solid over clock with the ram at 3000mhz?

When I first got it pc specialist took an extra day or two and maintained they could not get it to post at 3000.

I got Into the bios and used xmp profile 2 to set it to 3000mhz. This changed base clock to 125. What I got was a stable overclock at 3000 on the ram with a turbo boost of 3875 on the CPU. Multiplier at 31. Simply trying to up this to 32 fails as an overclock.

From what I gather for the broadwell E on x99 to clock ram at 3000mhz the bclk needs to be at 125. What do I need to change to get this to post? I'm assuming the vcore? Are there parameters im missing? When this is left on auto I saw 1.5 as the vcore which seems high as most guys are getting 4.2 on 1.22 and 1.35 from what I can see on the forums. I've also seen suggestions of cache changed to 32, if the multiplier on the CPU is 32 with a minimum left as 25.

I've also tried to manually set bclk to 100 and multiplier to 40 to try achieve a higher clock with the ram set to run at 3000mhz and again, won't post. CPR restarts the pc and sets the ram to 2666mhz at a 4ghz clock. Which funny enough ends up WORSE off on timespy by about 4-5%.

Should I try manually inputting the values as defined by the XMP, upping the multiplier to 32+ with bclk at 125 and 3000mhz ram and simply adjust the vcore higher to achieve post and test stability or are my assumptions lacking? It must be stated my cooling in any situation where I've actually attained post has been sub 50 under load.

Pc:

Any help greatly appreciated as this is something I'd really love to accomplish as the above kit wasn't cheap!
