Question 6800XT Crashing

Whenever I'm playing games with my 6800XT, there is a chance my screen will go black and require a full restart. My keyboard and mouse are still on and the GPU LED on my motherboard will turn on. I have a 850W gold so I don't think it's a power issue, I slotted in my old GPU(5700XT) and no issues since. Looking to RMA the card but worried that maybe it has no faults and having to pay the 100$ inspection fee, any advice? Also have a Ryzen 5 5600x and 32 GBS if that helps. Tried fresh installing windows, bought a new PSU but nothing.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I have a 850W gold so I don't think it's a power issue
850W is the advertised wattage of the unit while Gold is the advertised 80+ efficiency rating. You should mention the make and model of the unit.

bought a new PSU but nothing.
Make and model of the old/new unit?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time?

Did you run DDU prior to replacing the RX5700XT with the RX6800XT?

Tried fresh installing windows
You should install the OS in an offline mode, then manually install all relevant drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
