6850 or the 460

I wanted to gather opinions on which you think is better. Fanboys allowed :lol:
The gtx 460 or the ati 6850.
I really do want to know which one out performes the other.

They're pretty much the same, (when compared to a 1GB GTX460 that is, the 768MB version is weaker) look out for the Asus aftermarket versions, aka DirectCU, and get the aftermarket version which is cheaper.

I think you'll get a little more out of the 6850 but lose physx....... which might be okay because it puts a hurt on some games in some systems.

No way you can play demanding game and have turned on PhysX at the same time at 1680x1050 and up with a card like the GTX460.
@Djentleman i'm very happy with my HD 4850, it's been serving me excellent for the past 2.5 years, i play all games on high/max settings @ 1280x1024 resolution, of course except for BF3, because i'm being bottlenecked by my CPU, and the 4850 is quite an old car too. Still going strong though 😀

@swifty - I've never been big on physx. But that's just me
