6870? or GTX 460?

Should I get 2 XFX 6870 or should I get EVGA GTX 460 I heard the SLI 460 has micro stuttering or dips in FPS and I want these cards to last until GTX 6XX or HD7XXX series cards come out. So what do you guys have to say about those in crossfire are they better I mostly want to play BF3, Skyrim, Diablo 3 maxed out. Also is the 2GB version worth paying more for I heard games are using above 1GB now in 1920x1080 monitors like Crysis? Help me out guys before I buy!

Before suggesting anything, why don't you just tell us your FULL specs including budget...

I am buying it all at the same time but its $320 or so for video cards. I5 2500k gonna OC to 4.5 1920x1080 rez and MSI motherboard 8GB ram SeaSonic 1000W

yea damn 54 FPS in Crysis Warhead this should def max out BF3 to about 60 FPS constantly... sweet deal lol I dont have to get a expensive GTX 580 and save money towards next gen cards!!!

6870 cf will run bf3 smoother with max setting.

yea I compared that already just to see lol and a 580... and too late I preordered that PSU 4 days ago for $240 I wanted something I will use for a long time and from a very good company I plan on SLI or Crossfire the top of the line next gen cards lol... I will need it probably.

No I am getting the 6870 crossfire for $300 I would rather save money for next gen cards which should be out late Q1 2012 I believe.
