ok ok boys, lets not fight lol.

the fact is ps 3.0 has had little impact and will have little impact until at least the next year, by which time its very possible ati will adopt ps 3.0.

now in the mean time, they reelased the ps 2.0 revision that kept it in the game. so is ps 3.0 best in the long run? sure it is. is it at thsi time? not so much. i harken it to sse3. both have points that would be great, but little takes advantage of that right now.

lets nto make this ati vs nvidia here. they both have fine products, soemtimes one leads the other, but it alwasy seems to change with the drop of a hat.

oh by the way. see footnote on the post at INQ. It says macci reported to them that the system is 24/7 runable - maube not the 6GHz one but 4 Ghz for sure.

his latest 8269 i think is on an AMD. chk that rig out. he still tops futuremark lists in 3dmark 05 with the above score.

Why are they harping on old scores??? Prescott LGA775 holds the top 3 spots in 2K5 and they are all well over 5Ghz.

The top 2K3 score is a Prescott at 4.9Ghz
