I recently upgraded my hardware, motherboard, CPU and RAM. I havent realized it till later but my G633 headphones no longer showed up on windows 10 sound as surround sound headphones. On rare occasions and by playing with the USB and drivers windows 10 would see it as 7.1 surround sound.
First, surround sound was detected but no sound ever played through surround speakers but the right and left channel.
NOW, there is only stereo.
Logitech G Hub software also had trouble putting sound through the surround sound channels but now it does.
Windows 10 still doesnt recognize that the headset is 7.1 Surround sound.
What ive tried:
(There is no speaker fill option in enhancements)
-Reinstalled all drivers and Logitech G software
-Tried different USB ports
-Installed Realtek Audio
-Updated Chipset driver
-Reinstalled windows 10
-Scanned corrupted files in windows 10
How can I make windows 10 recognize my headphones as 7.1 surround sound again?
