Hello,
We are trying to figure out how to configure our system. We have two desktops with direct connections to a wireless router, one laptop that connects wirelessly and then hear comes the problems...the router sits upstairs and we want to hook up a Apple TV, blue ray player, blue ray TV, and network receiver but don't know how to do it. We bought a second wireless router that we tried to just hook up downstairs, but of course it is never that easy. We do have a wires connection from the upstairs router to the downstairs (so there is a line out), but can't figure out what we need to do to that router to get the other machines to work.

Assuming the router has wireless -- you could add wireless to the computers best in range. Otherwise add a switch -- will multiply the number of ports.
