I know this may be overkill but i really love how a push/pull config on a 240mm rad looks at the front of this case plus the 2 fans on the roof and rear exhaust but I have a question on how to configure them in the best way. The motherboard I am going to buy for this build is the gigabyte z170x gaming 7 which has only 5 fan headers and 1 is for the pump for my h100i v2. So should I plug the all the fans using splitters straight into the motherboard and if so which fans should be plugged into the cpu fan header or plug some of them straight into the psu and sacrifice the ability to control the speed? I don't think i can get a fan controller as there is no 5.25 bays in the case. Any suggestions on how to config this would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
1| Have Fan hubs to split the fans in groups of intake and exhaust.
2| Use one fan hub to power all 7 of your fans.

You can pick up this PWM fan splitter by Swiftech and have it run off your CPU_FAN header while power for the hub can be provided by your PSU's SATA connector. This way you have all your fans ramp up when the temperatures of the CPU goes up or have a custom fan curve set in BIOS or software to react to the temps or remain silent.
