7 years old Dell Alienware Aurora ALX Dedsktop PC hs stopped working. Its CD/DVD Reader/writer and some USB ports are not working. So I am unable to boot froM HDD / CD-DVD / PEN Drive too. Don't want to condemn it and trash it! Any help will be appreciated.

Are there any Diagnostic LEDs lighting up on the fornt panel? Those had a daughter card arrangement for some front panel and I/O functions. Check the power cable to that. Try disconnecting the front I/O and see if the rear USB is working then. That's a nice overclockable X58 system I don't blame you for wanting to keep it. You might ask at Dell Community Forum they may have some specific knowledge about that system.
