I've never built a gaming PC and I could use your help.

$700 max not counting KB/M, monitor, and OS(I'll be using Windows).

Must Have: Radeon R9 280x GPU and a 1TB 7200 RPM HD.

Would Like: A cool case, lame I know.

I would like to play todays games at 60fps+, 1080p, using minimum HIGH settings.

I've been going through price picker but there are so many options, and I don't know what brands to use or stay away from and who offers what benefits as there are tens to hundreds of different items per section. I am a fan of things on sale lol.

Thanks for your time.

i3-4130 was releasted in september 2013, less than a year ago.

Sorry,typo.
1 year ago. ;P

Ha,all you can do? most basic escape from "gotcha!" situation. Just in case you've lost track of time ,its august,as i've mentioned i3-4130 set off in september, and he definetly didnt got 1 on the very first day, starting to think that you made him up,you're purposely encouraging people to buy i3's..

Ahhh.
He bought it in late september/early october. It's getting close to 1 year from that period of time. 😉

Hey these parts are almost too good to pass this will give you a lot of bang for your buck just spend $16 more and it would be worth it btw the case is one of Corsairs new entry cases and it's pretty nice looking and super cheap.

This is what I would do with my money it would not disappoint you at all. also this motherboard is on sale its overclocking ability is great and if you wanted to run sli at some point its got plenty of room for that.

Thanks guys, I tweaked it a little. My graphics card went up almost $50 from the start of this thread to now, I was seriously thinking about going with the R9 280 to lessen the cost. Plus the addition of the optical drive, the price creeped up a little.

Done and bought, thanks so much for your help!
