So, I planned out a PC build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JftWjX
What do you guys think? I'd say its pretty solid, but you'll notice that there is no power supply included. So, can you guys give me suggestions? I'd like it to be semi or fully modular. I don't care about efficiency, but the total price needs to be 800$ or below.
Thanks in advance

Intel will last longer since they are better, and can be upgraded in the future. Unlike AMD, you can't upgrade because there is no CPU's to upgrade to.

True, but the FX 83xx will probably be future proof enough to the point where by time it and the current generation Intel become bottlenecks, they'll be obsolete

You are right. However, in CPU demanding games specially ones that hate AMD CPU's like ARMA 3, there will be massive differences between an i5 and the FX (not entirely a bottleneck, but huge performance difference). SLI and Crossfire configurations are most likely to get bottlenecked by an FX CPU in demanding games

missing a case, bro 😛
