Hi, im a new member of tom's hardware. i got $700 for christmas and want to build myself a kickass computer. "not for game 🙁" so if there is a computer price expert plz replie my post.

Somebody had a nice Christmas...check out <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com" target="_new">http://www.newegg.com</A> for decent prices if you'll be shopping online. What kind of components will you need? Do you already have monitor, CDRom, floppy, etc.? Do you want to go w/ a DDR board? Research different reviews on the net once you start getting more of an idea of what you want and then come back w/ specifics.

thank you for reply my post, i just want a computer that can play dvd, burn cds. i use adobe 6 word processing and also computer programing. Thank You!
