7000 series price drop??

Hi all,

When do you guys expect the 7000 series to drop in price? The 8000 series is coming, so shouldn't it be normal for the 7970 and 7950 to drop in prices?
I'm wondering because I plan on buying a new rig with a 7970 Ghz. in a week or 2.

It will surely drop when 8xxx series will launch.

EDIT: 8000 series will launch around Q2 2013.

Yes it will drop, but not until the HD8xxx become available. And the launch does not even have an official date yet. So won't happen in your 2 week window...
