Hey, i plan on upgrading my "Gaming Rig" and i have a spare Nvidia GTX 750 TI 2GB and i plan on using it with Evga GTX 1060 6GB. So i wonder are those video cards compatible with one another and what Budget motherboards would you suggest? Thanks
I'd agree with Gam3r01. Its almost pointless. But with that said if you play any of these games : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_hardware-accelerated_PhysX_support , then perhaps it's worth it providing you have a PSU capable of running both. Although, when the card is set as a physx card it harly uses any power. I tried it with my GTX560ti, and it did give an increase in FPS. Only tested on the Batman series though.
Sadly support for physx seems to be dying, and I don't think any new games have come out with it.
To answer your question: depends on what CPU you have which would help us pick an appropriate mobo.
my opinion is that there is no need for this setup.
you can't sli them, unless you are want to use the 750ti as a physic card (but there are very little game fully uses physx),
sell your 750ti to cover some the cost on the 1066.

If you also have to replace your motherboard as well it's not worth it at all, sell the 750 ti while it's still worth something.
