Hello guys,

I need your expertise in estimating the total power of my system so that I can buy a proper psu.
I'm currently considering the Evga G2 750w or Evga G2 850w.

Below is my system specs:

MSI z370 A-pro motherboard
Intel i7-8700k running @ 5.2 Ghz 1.36 Vcore
4 sticks of 8Gb DDR4 Adata xpg 3000 mhz ram (32 gb in total)
Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC, which is overclocked at 2050 Mhz core clock
4x140mm Noctua nf a14 ippc3000 fans
Evga clc 280 aio cooler
500 gb ssd
2 tb hdd

As you can see, the cpu and gpu are overclocked a bit much and i'll be running my pc for like 8 hours everyday, that's why I'm worried about the power supply.

Obviously the g2 750w would be cheaper, but i'm afraid that this overclocked system will draw more than that. Idk...

Thank you for your help guys.

I forgot to mention that I live in the U.S. and budget is not an issue, I just don't wanna waste an extra 40-50$ on something that I will not need.
So the 750w is enough but would there be plenty of headroom too?

Thank you so much for your suggestion!
I'm not too sure about. If for the same watt (say 850w), which one is better, the g2 or g3 ? they are both tier 1 right?

Thank you so much for quick and to the point answer ALL of you!
I know it's not a huge deal but I really wish I could give the green button to everyone but I can't.

So ima go to C++ and generate a random number between 1 and 10 and whichever number shows up will be order at which you guys answer and that will be picked as solution. 😛

Hey,

Are you familiar with how BHphoto rebate program works?
It shows on pcpartpicker that this particular unit has a $40 rebate, but upon clicking on it , it only shows $20 rebate on the actual BHphoto website.

PCPartPicker is often late on the latest deals and prices, which tend to change frequently. I never include a mail-in rebate in the price of an item because they are not guaranteed. There is an option in PCPartPicker to not include mail-in rebates when you are searching for parts.

These are the prices.
