terribly sorry ive been away from these forum for quite some time its a 3d printed
Fan Shroud for 150mm duct 140mm fan PC Case, GPU, High Temp ABS ( if you type that into ebay it should come up )
that i found on Ebay au..

does it work amazing MEH i dont know i just figured i could funnel the cold air sucked into the front of the case and blow into the air cooler to help CPU temps !!
Thank you. Maybe it works well or not, but it looks cool

I haven't used them myself or seen them except in passing but those funnels have to at least to some capacity be acting like megaphones no? Granted I probably wouldn't notice with all fans running at 100% all the time but for the average person I'd imagine it has to add some noise.

I know a rebuild of my 7800x3d and 7900xtx but im super impressed with what this case can handle and it looks super cool with the vertical mounting ..

Even more so with GPU temps and CPU temps ( well with a arctic freezer iii 420mm AIO its crazy to think the CPU would get hot )

somewhat diminishing returns with the 420mm

That said GPU is hovering around 60c 70c 4k ultra 100% load in dragon age

As sig says
Asus rog crosshair x670e gene 7800x3d arctic freezer iii 420mm argb corsair hx 1000i PSU 2 140mm fans blowing air in from the right hand side ( top if not vertical ) AIO 140s pulling air out and the side rgb 140mm fan is blowin / sucking air over the psu

7900xtx red devil is sucking cool air from the bottom though vented mesh panel ..

Call me very impressed with the temps and look ..

Sadly the 7900xtx is going bye bye as will the red rgb colour for green 5090 next year !!

This is the spec of my 8 year old rig and it can still hold its own with the latest must have games and yes i know i should use better ram speed but as i said its 8 years old.

That's sick! I love the Thermaltake fish tank style case.

Working on a new setup for my grandson: Nothing extreme: A few components I already had.

Unless you're going for positive pressure + dust filters to keep the thing clean inside, the amount of airflow seems way overkill. I'd bet You could ditch the intake fans and it'd be just fine. In fact, even losing the exhaust fan probably still wouldn't be enough to cause overheating.

Are the intake fans at least PWM (and on PWM headers)? If so, they might spin so slowly they're almost inaudible.

I'm aware. Fans came with the case and the curves are set so low you can't hear them at all. And with the low TDP of the CPU and the quality of the VRMs on this board you likely never will which is the intent. They are PWM and they are spinning at like 500rpm so yeah, inaudible. Same with the CPU cooler. You can't hear a thing from this system, even with the side panel off standing a foot away.

Just put this one together as well. Picked up the NXZT case on CL for ten bucks if you can believe that. No controller and no fans, but so what. Totally happy with it for ten bucks. Put the B550 board, memory and 5700x that a very awesome friend on the mod team gifted me in there, and this is going to be my test bench system now. For a variety of purposes. And I'm super thankful for it. This is nice and I hope it will help me, help community, at some point.

My PC changed a little. I just swapped out 3 Lian LI fans for 3 Noctuas. The Lian LI fans were a little disappointing.
Only way to see them is to point lamp at glass since its dark tint (mistake I won't repeat)
9wMIqSu.jpeg

One advantage to black tint and black cables is I don't see those in normal operation, but then I don't see the fans either.

raindrop rgb pattern makes me wish I had more than 4 sticks to use.

^ Think that GPU definitely needs an anti sag bracket!
The case doesn't have one.

Card came with
0pjVgOw.jpeg

Which is normally in the box in front of the fans, but I hadn't put it in since swapping the fans. Its there now.
eKfHNJL.jpeg

The motherboard has a strengthened pci slot so it might be okay.
The card has an anti sag protection built into its frame - can see it clearly running along top of card in above shot.

Angles can make it look like the Deepcool is resting on top of GPU but there is a gap there.

My rig, has just changed. Sold my Inno 3D GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X X3 OC and bought MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G GAMING TRIO OC.

Planning to change my current PSU, by the end of this month.

The rest of my rig, is as follows;

CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K 3.00 GHz

Motherboard: ASRock Z790 PG Lightning

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB DDR5 (2x32GB) 6600 MT/s

Storage: Samsung 980 SSD 1TB M.2 NVME, Samsung 990 PRO SSD 1TB M.2 NVME, Western Digital Blue 2TB HDD

PSU: Zalman Watttera 1000W Full Modular 80 Plus Gold

Case: LIAN LI LANCOOL III RGB

Congrats! I don't even want to know how much it cost.

Heh, those 4x power cables coming out of it look kind of like half of a spider has gotten sucked into the card and its 4 remaining legs are still dangling out.

I almost spit my coffee on my OLED TV 😂😂

It cost me 3,570 euros, which is roughly 3,704$.

Long story short, it doesn’t get any more scalper than this, here in Greece 😢

Your 9800X3D rig, looks very impressive!

I like how the black colour dominates the entire build.

Thanks 😁 appreciate the kind words.

The case is however the one thing I both really like and is a weak point.
It's not as well constructed as I would have expected and the dingus only supports 120mm fans though I forced a 140mm on the rear. Otherwise I can't complain.

Temps are very good, Indiana Jones (most GPU intensive game I have, ~100% GPU utilz. Only hits 66C. CPU under CPU tasks has reached 76C.

Would have liked the fans to be all black on both builds but realized I already spent a entry-midlevel GPU worth of cost in fans alone. I like the all black look and appreciate the compliment. To me there's something very appealing to the minimalist and clean look of a blacked out build.
