Since the start of the year I have replaced:
GPU - 2070 super to 7900XT
CPU - 3600xt to 5800x3d
HDD - replaced storage drive with 4tb ssd
AIO - H100i with a Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 360
PSU - Seasonic 750watt with a Corsair RMX1000
Keyboard - K70 rgb mk2 replaced by a Nuphy Halo96
Mouse - Next week probably replace Steelseries Rival 600 with a Logitech G502 X Plus
Ram - not really a replacement but I added 2 corsair Ram enhancement packs... 2 of my ram sticks aren't real, just rgb

I think I have spent enough for one year. I hadn't intended to do all that. It just sort of happened.
Only things left I haven't replaced are:
  1. Motherboard
  2. RAM
  3. Case
  4. Speakers
  5. I can't think of anything else?
So no, I won't be getting the RGB frames. I like how it is now. I had already run out of things I wanted before the AIO was necessary. Now my mouse is acting up.
new heaphones just arrived, right ? ;)

What your plan for the upcoming project?
The combination of high-end components like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon 7900XTX Red Devil, and DDR5 G.Skill Z5 RGB RAM showcases top-tier performance. Clever modifications for optimal cooling make it a standout.

just finally sold off my secondary system for a decent price

guess it's just about time to start on a new build and move my current(signature) system to the secondary spot:

Nice rig, and a fine choice in CPU ;-)

I wish mine looked as good! (In sig)

Bit of a story here.
Beginning (used to have):
I always had financial difficulties. So I had to be carefull of what I picked.
As a result, I used this system for 8 years and it still would work (case and psu were even from 2013):
https://ibb.co/ck33vNb (click on picture to see)

Specs (I didn't know back then what I was doing: look at the CPU-mobo combo and the configfan of the case):
CPU: i7 6700 non k (2015)+stock cooler
Motherboard: Z170 gaming a msi (2015)
RAM: 16gb ram ddr4 2100 speed (2015)
Storage: 1,5tb hdd (2012 but not in use anymore), 240gb ssd (for windows) (2015)
GPU: XFX rx590 8gb VRAM (downvolted, had too cause it ran too hot) (2018) (my 770GTX died in 2017)
PSU: CMX 750w bronze
Case: Aerocool GTA white: 1 120mm frontfan intake, 1 120mm backfan exhaust, 2 120mm topfans exhaust
Display: LG 24GM79G 24inch 1080p 144hz (2019) (before that I used a tv :p ...)

Middle:
Because, I finally realised what I was doing (after asking so many questions), because my PC wasn't in the ideal airflow and mainly because my PSU was actually bad, my components even suffered from 2015 till 2022. But I kept my components clean and it still worked. 2022 was the year I finally changed my case and PSU resolting in giving the components a bit more lifespan+WAAAY better easthetics:
https://ibb.co/PzqVW73 (click on picture to see)
PSU: Corsair RMX 750w 80+gold
Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 (2 140mm front intake fans+1 140mm back exhaustfan)

Ending:
With a CPU from 2015 and a GPU which was even the worst part of my pc since it made so much noise, was running hot when I didn't want to make it so much noise and was the worst possible card I could have bought, I knew I wouldn't survive very long, eventhough I changed my case and psu.
So the next year 2023 became the year that I did an overhaul and changed everything inside.
I consider myself lucky in the first place that I kept the components alive for so long, but mainly I congratulate myself for taking good care of my components eventhough they had suffered for so long with not an ideal airflow+not ideal power (which could even have potentially killed some components) to begin with. It was VERY expensive but had to do it because now I can try and survive for another 5 years and maybe 10 years if I do it correctly (only changing the cpu and maybe storage).

A true dream come true for me.
Always been big on customization, RGB, and just the looks of a machine.
It all started as a office pc with a 3rd gen i3 back in 2019, slowly built it up to what it is today, and its only gonna get better from here. The only thing that remained unchanged in my PC is the HDD, everything else was replaced at some point of time. All parts are bought "used" from a second hand market, you just gotta know who and what you are buying from. I have a few ideas, such as buying another CM SickleFlow 200 and put it below the one thats already in the front, possibly some RGB strips, definitely upgrade the CPU to a 5800X soon. Before this H500P mesh i bought a CM HAF X , to serve as a project case, but i've given up on it as it takes to much money and time to make it look as i want it to look, so i decided to go for something more modern, with a tempered glass side panel ofc.
If you are wondering the vertical GPU mounting bracket is custom made by a guy i know, i really really like it, and since i love the franchise, i told him to make a need for speed themed one. Only problem was that i had to bend/destroy the pcie brackets at the back of the case in order to make connect video cables.
If u have any suggestion as to what you would upgrade/do to this built, feel free to let me know.

^ This was what it looked like 3-4 months ago, imo i did a huge visual upgrade of the case.

^ This is what i started with, back in 2019, just took pics of it in 2021.

^ This was when the HAF X arrived, made some upgrades after i bought it.
So yeah thats my PC's journey, drop some tips, opinions, recommendations, whatever u want :))

Edit: sorry for just throwing pics in here without any sort of order, just had to put them out somehow xd
