Slight case modification and general layout changes for the current system.

Air from outside >>>>> through front fans, across CPU / GPU >>>>> out 2 rear exhausts from GPU and CPU.

Noise levels are very low.

Cooling is excellent.

That is a Gelid low profile UV blue fan, cheap and cheerful, not loud, glued to the rear I/O out and situated just below the outputs of the radeon 7900 XT, although you have to be careful, you can still pull in and out the 7900 XT from the case like this and reconnect any displays.

Celebrating the OP's name.. @tecmo34

One of my fave OST's from a game by Tecmo.

^ Surprised you switched from AIO to air cooling. were the air coolers not good back then?
That was my first high end system, I ran an AMD AM3 system before that with one of the fist AIO's, the ECO A.L.C from Coolit, it leaked everywhere.
That H100 did the same, that's why nothing was used from that system but the PSU and one of the HDD's as the power supply was situated up top and the HDD's to the side.

I understood for the time these things were improving, but common sense kicks in after a while and well knowing what we do now, haw far air cooling has come along.... I just don't need it for CPU's I have been using.

Watercooling of any kind adds more points of failure.

"A few years ago Coolit released the Domino cooler which at the time redefined liquid cooling for the ‘masses' – bringing it out of the basement of hardcore enthusiast users and firmly into the mainstream market. Everyone wanted a Domino, they were affordable, well built (although not without some issues it has to be said) and could handle overclocked systems with relative ease."

I guess I missed this thread for a few years... forever

So this is what current build started as: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/sWvJ6R
vh16vkd.jpg

And this is what it looks like now: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/XvH4dH
7yya9Dg.jpg

And in a few days it will have a different AIO in it. So I will use this photo as a before and make another post after.

If you were wondering why my pump is green, its part of reason I am replacing AIO. Ever since the last build of Icue, my colors on my pump are wrong. If I set it to show Blue, its green, if I set to to show red, its Orange. That and sometimes software just doesn't start with windows, which isn't ideal for software that controls AIO fans and pump. Start is when they help the most. So I have set pump to show temps, it seems to get that right.

build looks awesome noctua fans are great fans but for the sake of matching the red anti vibration pads look out of place !!

I found a guy selling the blue ones on ebay like a whole bunch of them..

Or arctic freezer ARGB p140's i use them as case fans and are easy to control with most lighting software.

power color Red devils do look awesome in really any colour !!

what new AIO are you going to use ??

I chose the red there and on the extension cables on purpose. I have all the colours as they come with fans. Rgb strip on motherboard is red as well.
Adds some colour to a dark case. It will all change with the new aio as I have to use other software.
Aio is a arctic liquid freezer ii 360.

you wont go wrong with the arctic freezer ii 360.
I have one on my 5800x3d works a treat ..
Im tossing up between using it on my 7800x3d with the o11 vision case next year or going with the Galahad LCD 360mm but big $$$ for the Lian Li cooler !!

corsair do 420mm long aio sleaves in a few different colors to add a bit of a pop of colour to the boring black tubes !!

^ the most dramatic AIO hose run i have seen!
shame i have dark tinted glass as its not as dramatic with it on.
I miss the rgb from the Corsair pump head but I just need to get more light into the CPU area somehow. Not replacing noctua exhaust fans just to get RGB though.

might go blue again, I haven't actually loaded any new rgb software yet. I just turned ram red using Icue and GPU has its own software, Powercolor don't share.

Arctic freezer not the most prettiest AIO but when you get down to the price VS performance there is literally nothing better than it on the market ..

That said you can glam them up a bit with some AIO tube sleeves in different colours corsair do some 420mm long sleeves in various colours that look good !!

I am sure RGB fusion used to take over my ram off Icue, but its not even seeing it.
I was told my red was too dark
MWZXBAg.jpg

I see more now.
its fun getting 3 different pieces of software to show same colors at same time.
Yes, I know about signalrgb. I am just messing around.

I can even see the once concealed basement - at least PSU should be getting some air now
