Hello,

I have a 3080 Suprim X arriving tomorrow and I currently only have a 750w power supply. Some websites online are recommending 850w but some say 750w minimum.

My PC has 2 NVME SSDs and 2 SATA SSDs and a Ryzen 3800x with 16gb of ram. If I don’t overclock the GPU, will 750w be enough? It is a Corsair RM750.
And what will happen if I don’t have enough power, will it damage the components?

TIA

Solution
You are fine.
Your psu is good enough to power it under heavy load.
"And what will happen if I don’t have enough power, will it damage the components? "
It'll bassically shut down (in best case xD ), with little chance to damage components.
