75hz or 60hz on a monitor when laptop has native 60z

I have a Asus fx502VE gaming laptop that has gtx 1050m Ti 4gb and i5-7300hq 2.5Ghz. I just wanted to ask that should I use my 75hz monitor and from intel panel use the 75hz or should I at the 60hz that I have in my laptop screen? The game is almost same in GTA V 60hz has like 50-70fps and 75hz has like 50-65 fps. 75hz is smoother but has like a little freezing. I'm trying to get like as low lag as possible...

The game like freezes and the Image and sounds get weird. Then it like teleports me littlebit back or front

I would use 75Hz as that is the refresh rate of your external monitor, no point of using a lower refresh rate.

The FPS you will get will depend on graphic load (how intensive game and graphic options are) and how powerful your GPU is.

If you set your monitor to do 60Hz in windows and your GPU is outputting 70 fps, you will only see 60 fps
If you set your monitor to do 75Hz in windows and your GPU is outputting 70 fps, you will see the full 70 fps
If you set your monitor to do 75Hz in windows and your GPU is outputting 120 fps, you will see 75 fps

Higher refresh rate is better.
