http://goo.gl/bTKuU9 - as you can see, in the UK they're all within £10 however I'm having difficulties choosing. The R9 270x appears to be the least attractive decision but I could be wrong. I think it's mainly between the 760 and 7950. I will be playing a lot of Battlefield 4 as well as numerous other shooters. System is finalised as I've managed to get unbeatable deals on each part and I'm planning to upgrade the CPU when AMD pushes an FX CPU update next year which I've heard will be AM3+. Build:
CPU: FX-6300
Mobo: MSI 990FXA
PSU: CXM 600w
The rest of the build isn't really relevant to the cards...

Radeon HD 7950 and GTX760 are almost same performer, but the upcoming AMDs Mantle API support on BF4 I recommend you HD7950. Its got 3GB RAM, Mantle API support and the future DirectX 11.2 support aswell

I was leading towards the 7950... How's driver support though? I do a lot of 3D rendering on Cinema4D, 3dsmax etc etc... And i'm aware Nvidia are the go-to for rendering? The decision just gets harder and harder...

The fact is nVidia graphics cards have the advantage in 3d Rendering apps at the moment but AMD is not so behind and they are improving day by day, just not the number one that all 😉.....

7950 and 760 perform about the same. But you need to do rendering so the answer is pretty obvious now.

Driver wise both won't give you problems as long as it's a single card.

Mantle is a plus point for the 7950 and I'm anticipating a significant boost in performance. But I'm not gonna use it in an argument because it has not been proven yet, and not all games use Mantle.
