This MB is in a new system (shell) that I purchased and I’m having issues recognizing the OS.
I’m
A bit green but I thought I could simply move the drive w/the OS from
The old to the new.

I don’t know if the issue is the sata drive connections being used or the process that I’m trying to use.

My current system is a Dell Precision with 4 drives in a raid array.

The MB has 8 sata drive ports and the cables are connected to 2,4,6

The OS on my face My prior system

Solution
You can't simply move the OS to a PC which has entirely different hardware and expect it to work.

You have to perform a fresh install of the OS using Windows installation media.
