intel core i5 4440
mo/ GA-B85-hd3
seasonic eco 600 w psu
8 gb ram
i play on 1920 * 1080
I am confused at the choice between 770 gtx and r9 280x
so who is the best ?
is the 3 gb memory of r9 280x important to play on this resolution?

Honestly the 2 cards trade blows and perform around the same in games(some games run just a bit faster on one than the other). When the 280x was more expensive the 770 was the easy choice now they cost about the same. For 1080p 2Gb is currently enough and you aren't going to really notice a difference between 2 and 3Gb of vram. You can look up reviews for the cards and get the one that performs the best in the games you plan on playing the most.

there are many things tjat me confused
for r9 280x the 384 bus width and 3gb memory
and for gtx 770 more clock ,phyx and anti aliasting
and for price i have price for both the important thing for me best performance with long time

Salam Aleykom Mohammad Ali,

A while ago I had to make the same decision as you are doing now. GTX 770 and R9 280x are about the same, with 770 a little faster for 1080p gaming. But even with that, R9 280x performs better in some games like BF4 because they are optimized for it. I think you should see which one is better for you and then decide.

If you like G-sync monitors, Shield, G-force experience, and games like Ubisoft, you can go with GTX 770.
If you like Frostbite games, Mantle and other AMD qualities, or if you're generally a fan of AMD you could go with R9 280x.

You cannot go wrong with either way brother. Just keep in mind that when you're buying any of them, get a good brand like for Nvidia EVEGA and for AMD sapphire, specifically sapphire toxic editions are faster and come with better coolers.

Hope this helps brother.

it's hit an miss for both cards, both take blows in different areas but as a whole , the R9 280X (7970GHz) takes the lead, not by a whole lot but by a bit.

The GTX 770 (GTX 680 modified) does offer better performance in games with it's better drivers, though AMD mantle are offering great performance in modern games like BF4.

The 280x is sometimes shown to be faster in many games, if you want the Nvidia benefits get Nvidia. Overall, the 280x wins mostly and the inclusion of mantle could hugely boost the performance. However, the adoption of mantle may not be frequent in the gaming industry. It really comes down to the optimization of the games you play.
