I went with the much older r9 280 as it is way faster than the 960 and a bit faster than the newer r9 285
As drivers have been advancing it really performs as well as the GTX 770.
If you want to include shipping or gear the machine more towards pure gaming and less balanced, I could choose parts like that as well.
