Question 7800x 3d Noctua uh-12s

You should be fine however do you have the AM5 mounting hardware for the cooler? If your cooler was purchase after 2019, it comes bundled with the cooler.

Moved thread from CPUs section to Cooling section.

I later purchased an AM4 mounting kit and was told that I could mount it with this, but I'm worried about the heat. I am currently using 9700k at 4.8 ghz with 1.32 voltage at idle 50 degrees and at load 70 degrees

What do you think about liquid cooling solutions? Noctuas are extremely expensive in my country
You do pay for quality and quiet.
A good alternative that is cheaper might be the thermalright assassin coolers.

As to liquid cooling, realize that it is still air cooling.
The difference is where the radiator heat exchange takes place.
The noctua and assassin coolers have about the same cooling capability as a 240 aio cooler.

AIO coolers do not last forever. In time, the mechanical pump will fail or get clogged.
Air will eventually intrude through the tubes and the unit must be replaced. Think of an aio as a 5 year rental.

Why not try your Noctua UH-12S and see how you do?
If you have a X3d processor, I imagine your work should be gaming, and that is not going to heavily use perhaps
half of the 16 threads. If you later find that you want more cooling, your noctua mount can handle other noctua coolers.
